Stabbing pains in cervix first trimester normal?

ok so every so often i get these sharp stabbing pains that only last for two seconds in my vagina. Im 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I called my doctors today to see if it was normal and they told me 'we are not going to do anything about it but if u feel u need to go to er go ahead' told me to just keep an eye on it. I have had two prior miscarriages so i am very concerned and i k i need to get a new doctorrrr
