What do you do on the 4th of July?

I live near a beach, so I usually go there around 11 and stay until the night drunk all day. Everything is within walking distance and a lot of conservative friends enjoy a beer. The liberals surf and smoke pot. It's a great day of unity and peace, until the drunks stab each other outside mcdonalds.
