What are some fun things that kids could make in the kitchen (such goop, goo, play-doh, etc.)?

You can make paper mache from news paper and flour . Make a paste out of the flour and tear the news paper in thin strips and let soak until they get good and wet then you can mold them into animal shapes or if you have a round balloon, blow it up and start to put the paper mache around the balloon then keep cris crossing the strips and build it up to about a sixteenth of an inch and let dry and once it is dry stick a pin through it to bust the balloon then cut it in half and you have two bowls that you can paint and decorate.Once you have painted it and it is dry then varnish them and they will last for a really long time . You can put fruit in them or whatever you want .
