What chemicals do I maintain my pool with? ?

It's just a small 6 or 8 foot round pool for my 2 year old. I don't want to keeps changing the water. I have well water it gets very gross and yellowish. How do I keep it cleaned and clear all summer? I heard using the BBB ( Bleach, Baking Soda, Borax) work but I'm not sure? Any ideas?
